Toxic Blades Knives by Ben Chacon brings us his Toxicator model featuring a sinister looking tanto ground blade with top swedge ground from Chad Nichols low layer san mai damascus. The bolsters pocket clip and two-piece split backspacer are all Alpha Knife Supply Timascus, the scales are Westinghouse micarta, and the liners are satin finished titanium with a steel lock bar insert. The action on this piece is nothing short of awesome with a firm detent, a blade that rockets open, and literally guillotines closed when you easily slide the lock bar from underneath it. For a 16-year-old knife maker, Ben definitely has it going on, and I would recommend you keep your eyes on him and what he does next! This knife is pre-owned but like new from the maker and was built for The Gathering this year.
