CUSTOM

BRANDON AND MACKENZIE

This ring was created for a client that wanted something totally different than a traditional looking engagement ring. We started with a round diamond and designed a custom made platinum setting that features an asymmetrical design offset to one side. The last picture shows how unique this couples wedding bands are with hers being a straight band with bezel set diamonds staggered throughout and his a black zirconium band with a diamond set into the band.

NATALIE AND JAY

This ring is definitely one of the more unique and meaningful custom pieces we have ever created.

The idea for this ring came from a client that had lived his entire life in New Orleans. He and his soon to be fiancé recently relocated to Washington DC. When looking for the perfect ring, he wanted something that would remind them of home, a place that was very special to them. Through our design process, we gave them that one of a kind ring. A ring that is reminiscent of the French Quarter, the heart of the Big Easy.

It starts with a 1 ct round diamond at the center. From there the components were inspired by the architecture and design of the iron balconies found all around the area. We capped this ring off with a satin finished shank, to bring your focus back to the top of the ring where all the gorgeous detail work lies.

ROBBIE AND DALYA

This ring features a gorgeous cushion cut blue sapphire in a ring we designed to the exact dimensions of the gemstone so that the halo had a nice and tight fit around it. It showcases the blue sapphire with a cushion shaped halo with pave` set diamonds and finished with milgrain while the gallery area under the sapphire has some unique beading and hand engraving down the band.

JACKIE AND BRANDON

This ring was a group collaboration between both the husband and wife.

She requested a slight change of scenery on her left hand while still retaining the center diamond she was originally given. We discussed what she was interested in and what we ended up with is a very modern twist on a classic look. We started with her 1 ct princess cut diamond held in place by “V” shaped prongs. From there we made sure that if there were any empty space we put a diamond in it! Triple rows of pave set diamonds were placed on the shank with beading on the outside edge. We placed a floral like pattern on the gallery under the center diamond to give a “vintage” look to what would be considered a modern trend with a halo surrounding the center diamond.

BRANDI AND CHRIS

This project is a great representation of the thought, design, and creative process that goes in to a piece of custom jewelry.

Not every piece of custom jewelry starts as a sketch. Some start from combining different design elements. Sometimes we use pieces in our own inventory and combine them with a piece from elsewhere and transform those elements into one truly unique design.

In this series of images shown, the first two photos in the gallery were the foundation for the design. The images following are from the CAD software, or computer-aided design, used to create the ring. This gives an accurate image of what the finished product will look like before the actual construction of the piece begins. The CAD photos do not show the engraving and fine detail work. The final three photos are of the beautiful finished product. A gorgeous platinum engagement ring with a 1.80 ct cushion cut diamond surrounded by 1.32 ct of round pave set diamonds. The bottom half of the shank is finished with an intricate hand engraving.

ALEXIS AND BRADLEY

This client certainly has an eye for design.

He was a thrill to work with because he knows what he wants and he also allowed us some of the creative control to make sure the end result was a showstopper. He handpicked light blue sapphires and we custom cut them to fit the design. The floral gallery under the center diamond and the delicate hand engraving around the knife-edge shank made this piece perfect. We loved the end result.

MINDY AND DEAN

This custom ring was designed around a 2.3 ct cushion cut diamond. The diamond was set between two half-moon cut shaped diamonds. We added some unique gallery work under the diamonds and used an uncommon “split prong” setup on the center diamond.

SOMEONE SPECIAL

This is something a little different than what we typically get asked to do. It really allowed us to showcase the talent of our designers in creating anything the client can imagine. This is a custom 14k yellow gold colander pendant. We can’t wait to see what this client dreams up next!
